How long is the medical visa valid?
The Iranian embassy sets the length of the visa. Your medical invitation letter states the planned treatment period, so apply for a visa that covers the whole stay, including recovery.
Can a companion travel with me?
Yes. One companion can usually travel with you. Send us their passport details with your request and we add them to the invitation letter.
Can I extend my stay if treatment takes longer?
If your doctor decides that treatment or recovery needs more time, the treating center issues a letter and you apply for an extension at the immigration office in Tabriz before your visa expires. Our coordinators help you with the appointment.
